Theory tuition

Music literacy is an essential skill for singers, most especially those with any kind of professional ambition. I like to teach my students both theory and aural skills and select the highest-quality tutoring books to give my students the opportunity to receive the best possible tuition in this area while making the learning fun.

I offer Theory Bootcamps for students of all ages to study together periodically in groups. This offers many opportunities for games, in which the students are able to consolidate their knowledge while having fun and winning prizes. These usually take place in school holidays or weekends.

For the particularly ambitious student, I am able to offer a course of study that involves theory, aural and music history that is very advantageous to those preparing for tertiary singing studies.
